Instructions for using your Cartolina iPhone app.
To EMAIL a Cartogram
Emailing a Cartogram is simple and straightforward.
Choose a design from the thumbnails, touch in the Cartogram to enter up to 4 lines for your greeting.
When you have finished your message press the arrow in the top right corner and then choose, Send As Email. Choose your recipient's email address and SEND.

Texting a Cartogram is also simple and straightforward.
Choose a design from the thumbnails, touch in the Cartogram to enter up to 4 lines for your greeting.
When you have finished your message press the arrow in the top right corner and then choose, 'Send as Text' button. The messaging app will open and you can choose your recipient just as you would a regular text message. When you have chosen the recipient touch your finger in the text field for just a moment* - The word 'PASTE" will appear.
Touch the word 'PASTE' and you will see the Cartogram drop into the message field. Press SEND.
*Note:If this is the first time you have pasted into a text field then this can take a couple of tries before you perfect the 'touch'. You have to touch and hold for half a second and then you will see the word 'paste.'
Cartolina Calendar
Be sure to add birthdays to your Contacts App so that they appear in your Cartolina Calendar. You'll receive a pop up reminder to send a Cartogram at 2pm the day before.
To add birthdays to your Contacts App
Open up one of your contact's info pages, click 'edit' and select 'add field' at the bottom of the edit mode page.The add field page will open and you can select 'birthday' at the bottom to enter the date. Make sure to restart the Cartolina App after doing so.

Having problems?
Our developers tested and re-tested the app on various iphones, ipods etc. Occasionally, as with any apps, certain combinations of device, software and other apps may cause issues. Apple does rigorous testing before approving any app. We really hope we can help you resolve the problem.
A few things to try.
1. restart your iPhone (Hold both the 'home' button and 'power' button for a few seconds, slide to power off) May take a few minutes to re-start.
2. Plug your iPhone into your computer and sync it with iTunes. Make sure you are up do date with the latest iPhone software.
3. Delete the app, re-download and re-install. (hold your finger on the Cartolina App Icon...it will start to wiggle and an 'X' will appear. Press the 'X' to delete. Download from the App store again. (you won't have to pay twice)

At Cartolina we will try to help you trouble shoot any problems that you might have using your Cartolina app. The images on the Cartolina app are copyright of Cartolina Cards Inc. By installing the app you agree to not use any of the copyrighted imagery on the Cartolina app for any commercial usage. The Cartolina app is for personal use only.
